Good news for those in Bridge Street.
Openreach have recently installed a new green cabinet, number 7,
adjacent to the bus shelter. The significance is that it is FTTC (Fibre
To The Cabinet), then existing copper to premises. As the location of
this fibre cabinet is actually in Bridge Street, much closer than the
one that was used previously in Lavenham, your broadband speeds will
have increased substantially.
If you have already upgraded to fibre you should enjoy download speeds
of at least 35Mbps, possibly less the further you are from the bus
shelter. If you have not upgraded to fibre you should do so now. You may
find that the many competitive deals on offer are cheaper than your
current cost.
